Mom tells hijackers to "F*** off!"

A woman escaped and her young son, escaped with their lives on Monday morning, when they were involved in an attempted hijacking while reversing out of their driveway in Reservoir HIlls, west of Durban.

Batavia men being held without bond

The FBI charged two men Friday with the Jan. 18 robbery of the Elgin State Bank. And the Chicago office's special agent in charge credited a bystander for the arrest, as the person called Elgin police right away and provided a description of the robbers and the get-away vehicle. Meanwhile, St. Charles announced they are charging one of the men with the Dec. 29 robbery of the Super-8 Motel.
