If someone really wants to get into your home, and they can slide in through those small windows, they are going to do it. Do not leave your home vulnerable by neglecting to put intruder alarms on these windows as well. Intruder alarms can be used on second floor windows that may be breached by climbing up other structures or that are otherwise accessible from the ground. Some who feel totally unsafe where they live with put intruder alarms on any and all windows on their home or business, even if they seem to be accessible only by helicopter. Do what you think is the best for your family and your situation, but make sure you do not feel like a prisoner in your own home either.
